Today was day 1 of our fabulous senior project adventure. For our project we are going to be recording and mixing our own CD using both personal equipment, the school's equipment and a professional studio. The goal of our project is to complete TWO professionally mixed complete songs and various smaller and less complex songs. We will be posting any recordings up on this blog as we move forward with our project.
On the first day of project, Leah set up all her own personal equipment in the downstairs of her own house complete with a full computer set up with multiple recording software programs, two guitars, two professional microphones and an interface. Terra and Leah then went to school to learn about using the school's soundboard for any other recording and mixing we would like to do that can't be done at home. We realized some additional items that we need to buy from Radioshack and GuitarCenter so we plan on purchasing those necessary items tomorrow. Saeed will also be purchasing an acoustic guitar to replace his classical guitar.
