Last week Leah worked on a personal project which was trying to create a cover of the song Excuses by the Morning Benders. By using the home interface and microphone set up she layered many many many tracks to achieve the harmonies and overlapping vocal parts. She then took this project to the studio to lay down professional tracks. Here is the home version and the initial studio version. Since then the studio version has been completed. We just need Mr. Farmer to send us the file.

Last night we met at the studio again, this time with Saeed, and layered him into "I'm Yours" which we have now deemed a finished project (although Mr. Farmer still needs to add drums and bass). We also added bass to "Excuses" which, as previously mentioned, has also been officially completed. We have reached the halfway point in our project and Mr. Farmer has been very pleased with our progress so far. We accomplished more than we anticipated so he has agreed to let us take on a more ambitious project in the coming weeks: a cover of "Wait For Me" by Hall and Oates. Along with this larger project, Saeed will be recording a side project of his own: covering Nick Jonas's "Give Love A Try". That's all so far! We'll be sure to put up the finished version of our latest songs as soon as we can.
